Work in Progress

This past year at RIT, I have worked with fellow faculty and students in online and onsite exhibitions.

Resistance, Rebellion, and Renewal: Narratives of Progress and Poverty an exhibition co-curated by RIT Museum Studies faculty

During the Spring 2015, I worked with MUSE faculty colleagues in planning an exhibition focusing on Rochester history. To bring this project into the hands of our museum studies students, I developed a module in one of the courses that I developed at RIT this past year, Visitor Engagement and Museum Technologies. In this class, I worked with students to connect the faculty work with ancillary and online content directed and produced by 17 students in my course. One of the ancillaries is the exhibition website. See here: Resistance, Rebellion, & Renewal: Narratives of Progress and Poverty. For a summary of the work related to this project, see here (downloadable pdf).

National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House

An in-process project, in collaboration with Shaun Foster and David Halbstein (faculty in the College of Imaging Arts & Sciences, RIT), is the preparation of a parallel website for the walking tour app associated with the National Susan B Anthony House & Museum. See here.
